Your lesson will begin with a pre-flight briefing from your pilot so you understand how the aircraft is capable of the manoeuvres it will carry out during this aerobatic flight. Once airborne, your pilot instructor will accelerate to over 100mph and guide the plane into a sequence of manoeuvres which could include rolls, loops, wingovers and perhaps even the heartstopping spin. An experience not for the faint hearted, and certainly not a good idea with a hangover! Please note that the aerobatic manoeuvres mentioned above should be used only as a guide to what you may experience and will differ depending on your chosen location. Location: Bournemouth International Airport, Blackpool (Lancashire), Bodmin (Cornwall), Leicester, Redhill (Surrey), Sibson (Peterborough), Teesside, Thruxton (Hampshire), Wellesbourne Mountford (Warwickshire) Other Information: Maximum Pilot Weight is 17 Stone (108 kg) except Blackpool and Barton where it is 14 Stone (89 kg) Maximum Pilot Height is 6' 4" (1.93m) except Blackpool and Barton where it is 6' 0" (1.82m) Spectators Allowed: Spectators are welcome although views may be limited as the lesson will take place away from the airfield in most cases. Duration: You should allow approximately 25-30 minutes for the flight itself (from taxi to landing)but you should allow around an hour for the whole experience.
